Bournemouth shopping centre shut over safety fears

A £200 million shopping centre in Bournemouth which was built by Kier has been shut following fears over the safety of the car park structure.
Kier subcontracted to design and construction of the car park to Amec owned specialist CV Buchan. Hyder was Buchan's designer.

Concerns over the car park structure had previously been raised, and Kier, Buchan and Hyder had been talking to Castlepoint and monitoring the condition of the building.
