Crossrail advertises £35m Liverpool Street works

Crossrail has advertised a second package of works in as many days, with a £35 million contract for advanced works at Liverpool Street station now up for grabs.

Works to be carried out under contract C503 will prepare for the construction of the new Broadgate Ticket Hall by relocating and diverting existing infrastructure.

The scope of the 25 month job includes construction of a new EDF Powerlink Substation, six electrical switchrooms, a stations operation office (SOR) and a signalling switchroom as well as a new sprayed concrete lining 4 m diameter, 56 m long cable tunnel will be constructed under the Metropolitan and Circle Line.

Contractors have until 14 July to submit pre-qualification questionnaires.
