Kier has beaten one other bidder to a £9.2m sports facility project for East Berkshire College

The contract, which is estimated to have have a gross cost of £16m, is for the design and construction of a new sports facility, entrance and street for the college.

It will also involve the refurbishment of existing facilities, creating a new catering and hospitality area. More projects are to follow as part of the redevelopment of the Langley Campus.

The contract is expected to be completed in August 2013, and is likely to have elements sub-contracted.
