German contractor Bilfinger and Berger is to build a £50 million hangar for jumbo jets at Beijing airport, in a joint project with the Beijing Construction Engineering Corporation. The hangar, claimed to be the biggest in Asia, will accommodate six jumbos and four short-haul aircraft, and is being built for a joint venture of Lufthansa and Air China. CONSTRUCTION NEWS
