Kvaerner Engineering, of Norway, has won a £100 million contract for detailed engineering and construction of the Sleipner T gas treatment platform.The contract, placed by Statoil, the Norwegian oil and gas company, is the largest ever secured by Kvaerner, and involves construction of the jacket and topsides and a 100m long steel bridge linking the platform with the A installation on the Sleipner East field in the North Sea.
