Balfour Beatty Ground Engineering restructures

Balfour Beatty Ground Engineering (BBGE) has appointed a new management team and restructured the business into five divisions.

Former Birse Civils regional managing director and BBGE A46 project director Tony Dixon has been appointed managing director of Balfour Beatty’s ground engineering provider, with Richard Munday appointed director of operations and Alan Wilkinson as commercial director.

Working alongside them are specialist businesses director Arwel Williams, technical services director Marc Evans and finance director Ken White.

Mr Dixon has restructured BBGE into five business streams: Large Diameter Piling; CFA Piling; Driven Piling; Ground Improvement and Mini Piling.

The technical and back office functions will provide support centrally.
