Aberdeen man killed in scaffold fall named

The 63-year-old man killed when he fell from scaffolding at an Aberdeen site earlier this week has been named.

Malcolm Doughty died in hospital after he fell while renovating a block of flats.

His partner, Margaret Johnson, 81, told BBC: “He was a very good person. Everybody loved him. He will be missed terribly.”

Grampian Police and the Health and Safety Executive have launched a joint investigation into the incident and a report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.
