Worker dies in fall from scaffold

A 26-year-old labourer has been killed after falling from scaffolding at a building site in Skegness, Lincolnshire.

It is believed Justin Gillman had been pushing a wheelbarrow full of bricks across the scaffold, about 2m off the ground, when he suffered the fatal fall.

The incident occurred about 12.30pm on Friday, local police said.

It is understood he had been working for housebuilder Chestnut Homes.

An HSE spokeswoman said: “We are aware of the incident and are assisting Lincolnshire Police.”
