A-Plant invests in new lighting equipment

A-Plant has purchased 60 new Vertitower Lighting Towers manufactured by power equipment supplier ArcGen Hilta.

The new investment takes A-Plant’s hire fleet of tower lights to well over 1,000 units.

The Vertitower is a mobile lighting unit featuring a 360-degree rotating lamp head with an 8 m telescopic mast.

Each unit has a built-in drum for storage of the power cable – which it is claimed is a first for the UK market.

The tower is fully electric, eliminating the possibility of hydraulic oil leakage, and produces low noise levels of 66 dBA at 7 m, making it suitable for event as well as site lighting according to its manufacturer.
