ATG Access develops new bollard

ATG Access claims to have developed a bollard that can stop a 30 tonne truck travelling at 50mph.

The company has released footage of a crash test in which its bollard stopped a fully laden 30 tonne truck

The truck produced approximately 7,400kJ when it hit the SP1200 Automatic Rising Bollard. ATG claims this is equivalent to a 1.5 tonne car travelling at more than 220mph.
