Big expectations for Hitachi mini excavators

Hitachi Construction Machinery (Europe) NV (HCME) has introduced two new Zaxis models to strengthen its range of mini excavators.

The Japanese manufacturer has developed the ZX16-3 and ZX18-3, which are available with a cab or canopy, and are designed for light applications in confined spaces, such as utilities, gardening/landscaping and general purpose groundworks.

The Hitachi ZX16-3 and ZX18-3 are equipped with powerful and economical three-cylinder 10.7kW engines, and superior power-to-weight ratios allow rapid acceleration and smooth operation in comparison with the previous models (ZX16 and ZX18).
