David McCulloch boosts fleet with Volvo EC27C

David McCulloch of Clackmannanshire has added the new Volvo EC27C to its fleet.

Having participated in several customer clinics at Volvo Construction Equipment’s compact equipment facility to provide practical input and suggestions to the final design of the mini excavator.

Specifically, David McCulloch has noticed a marked improvement over the EC25 it replaces in terms of hydraulic and tracking performance with the capability of handling larger buckets without compromising on stability.

The new EC27C sold to David McCulloch is the first of its kind to be delivered in Scotland replacing the previous EC25 and EC30 models. Powered by a Volvo 1.6 litre low emission Tier III the machine delivers the performance in the range of the previous Volvo EC30 – yet with a compact design reminiscent of the smaller EC25.
