Enigma anti-theft system foils Lynch machine theft

A Lynch machine has been recovered within 24 hours of its theft from the site of a Lynch Plant Hire customer.

A Lynch machine, fitted with a new combination of Thatcham accredited anti-systems from Enigma Vehicle Systems, has been recovered and five suspects arrested.  The new joint system features an Enigma Skyline tracking and security system and a hydraulic anti-theft system from Meck Lock.

The Meck Lock system isolates the hydraulic flow using a patented key operated mechanical system.  The key cannot be copied and has 60 million combinations.  The Meck Lock sends a signal to the Skyline system which shows whether the machine has been operated using a key.  If the Meck Lock is deactivated by the thief the operator will be informed wehen the signal has been cut by Skyline.

The Skyline system is available in a range of standard and customised versions from Enigma.
