Liebherr supplies excavator to flood defence company

Liebherr has supplied an hydraulic excavator to Lincolnshire-based Welland and Deepings Internal Drainage Board.

The flood defence organisation will use the new generation R 317 LC Litronic for general dredging duties, as well as drain clearance and weedcutting.

The machine came with an hydraulically adjustable boom with a standard stick as well as a long-reach Multi User boom and stick for weedcutting and de-silting.

The new excavator replaces a Liebherr R 900 B bought by Welland and Deepings in 2001.
