Wacker Neuson introduces new compact excavator

Wacker Neuson has extended its range in the 2.5 tonne class with the 2404.

The compact excavator boasts a 2.6m digging depth, 2.8 m dumping height and 1.2 tonne lifting power. It offers high stability thanks to the oversized running gear.

The engine is located in the tail section and the fuel and hydraulic tanks, along with the hydraulic control block, are beneath the cab, which results in a well-balanced weight distribution.

The 2404 is the newest member of the Vertical Digging System family. This innovation from Wacker Neuson enables the continuously variable tilting of the superstructure through up to 15°, making it possible to compensate for inclines of up to 27 per cent at the touch of a button.
