Birmingham seeks partner for £40m housing scheme

Birmingham council is seeking a development partner to help deliver 430 mixed use properties in the Northfields area of the city.

The council’s Housing arm, the Birmingham Municipal Housing Trust, is currently developing a number of properties in the Egghill area and has prepared a masterplan for the remainder the site which is bounded by Frogmill Road, Egghill Lane and Tessall Lane.

The plans include associated infrastructure and a public park.

PQQs should be submitted by 30 September and between three and six companies will be invited to tender on 7 October.
