ISG wins City Technology College contract

ISG has won a £10.5 million contract to build new educational facilities and refurbish accommodation at City Technology College Kingshurst Academy in north Solihull, the Midlands.

Under the contract the construction company, which specialises in new build and refurbishment, will build a new steel-frame four-storey teaching block and single-storey training block at the college, which has more than 1,500 students.

The new four-storey teaching block will include a large information centre, study areas and classrooms across the ground floor, with ICT, English, media studies, humanities and art departments.

The scheme is due to commence mid-July and is scheduled for completion by the end of 2010.
