Asda set for new £20m Scottish store

Asda is seeking planning permission for a new £20 million Scottish store.

A planning application has been submitted to East Renfrewshire Council for the Barrhead store which borders Church Street, Main Street and Levern Water.

Asda says the planned supermarket will result in an investment of £20m into the local economy, including an investment of £800,000 to integrate the supermarket within the town centre.
