Balfour Beatty division wins £1m retail job

Balfour Beatty Regional Civil Engineering has secured a £1 million contract for Union Square Developments at its Guild Street project, Aberdeen.

The works at the £250 million Hammerson development are part of the fit-out of the Marks and Spencer store and follow on from the earlier contract at Raiths Farm in Dyce for Union Square to construct a new rail freight facility.

Balfour Beatty Regional Civil Engineering current portfolio in the Aberdeen region includes a new ferry terminal on Raasay, Skye, a project to upgrade Ronaldsway Airport on the Isle of Man, a maintenance framework for at Aberdeen Airport and infrastructure work at a housing development in Inverurie.
