Capita Symonds secures sports ground funding

Capita Symonds has succeeded in securing a £1 million Football Foundation grant towards the construction of new football facilities for the village of Aylesham in Kent.

The £1.7 million facility will provide improved grass pitches for rugby and football, a new floodlit synthetic turf pitch, a multi-use games area and a new changing pavilion with changing rooms.

Capita Symonds has been working with Dover District Council, Hillreed Homes, Ward Homes and the Aylesham and Snowdown Football Club for the past three years on a range of projects in the area including a feasibility study, options appraisals and grant funding applications.

Other funding partners include the Rugby Football Union, the Coalfield Regeneration Trust and Dover District Council.
