Derwent appoints Caddick for £100m Liverpool retail park

The Derwent Group has appointed Caddick Construction to build its £100m Edge Lane Retail Park redevelopment in Liverpool.

Caddick Construction has worked with the client over the last 14 years, delivering projects collectively worth £84m.

The new development totals 727,000 sq ft and includes a mixture of retail and leisure facilities.

Caddick has begun work on the first phase, known as the Western Quarter, which will include 92,500 sq ft of retail space.

Derwent managing director David Lyons said: “This is a sizeable and strategic £100m investment for the Derwent Group… It’s taken some time to get this project on the table but everything is now in place for work to begin in earnest in April.”
