Coinford wins £3.5m concrete frame job for Kidbrooke regen

Coinford Construction has won a further £3.5 million contract to construct the frame of the first residential block on the £1 billion Kidbrooke regeneration scheme after securing the groundworks and road package last year.

Kidbrooke regeneration, which is being undertaken by Berkeley Homes in partnership with Greenwich Council, the Homes and Communities Agency and Southern Housing Group, is one of the largest housing-led regeneration schemes in Europe.

The project is set to deliver 449 homes in the first phase alone.

Overall the scheme will take approximately 15-20 years to complete, providing approximately 4,000 private and affordable homes, a new 100 acre public park, a new health centre, community facilities and shops, plus improved and accessible public transport.
