Bam Construct names London and Midlands bosses

Bam Construct has announced the appointment of two regional directors for London and the Midlands.

Rod Stiles (pictured) has been named Bam Construction’s regional director for London, having previously served as the Midlands director.

The Midlands regional director role vacated by Mr Stiles has been filled by David Ellis.

Both men have been at the contractor for more than 20 years, with Mr Stiles serving as a director since 2007 and Mr Ellis having joined the firm in 1996.

Commenting on his appointment, Mr Stiles said: “There is no doubt that building in the capital is a unique challenge: unique for its architecture, its logistical complexity, and its sheer commercial scale.

“But Bam has proven it is technically as good as any firm in this sector, and that our collaborative culture means we can operate successfully for any client anywhere in the UK in a way others find hard to match.”

In an exclusive interview with CN last week, Bam Construct’s chief executive James Wimpenny urged staff to be vigilant as the business sought to avoid problem jobs.
