Galliford Try wins £150m Yorkshire Water framework

Galliford Try’s infrastructure arm Morrison Construction has won a £150 million contract to deliver two streams of Yorkshire Water’s AMP5 framework in a joint venture with AECOM Design Build.

The two streams comprise treatment works, involving capital projects on sewerage and water treatment plants, which is expected to be worth up to £100 million and other installation projects, covering pumping station facilities, expected to be worth around £50 million.

Galliford Try chief executive Greg Fitzgerald said: “This appointment is another significant step in the renewal of our framework agreements with our key water clients and reinforces our position as one of the sector’s leading contractors.”

Work will be carried out over a five year period.
