Galliford Try Partnerships has partnered with WM Housing Group to deliver a 210-home development in Birmingham.
The site is located at a former greyhound racing track in Hall Green.
Upon completion, 110 of the new homes will be sold by Galliford Try’s housing arm Linden Homes, with the remaining 100 handed over to WM Housing.
The value of the housing association’s share of the project is £11.5m. Galliford’s share has not been disclosed.
Galliford Try Partnerships acquired the former greyhound stadium site in April. The company said the site represented one of the largest residential development opportunities in Birmingham.
Galliford Try Partnerships Midlands regional managing director James Warrington said: “This is a major development opportunity for us in Birmingham and it represents a significant contribution to the new-build local housing market in the area.
“We want to build long term business relationships with our partners so we are very pleased to have joined forces with WM Housing to bring forward this much needed, high-quality project which will see a full range of housing built over the next two years.”
