ISG wins Goldman Sachs London HQ fit-out deal

Exclusive: ISG has scooped a major contract to provide fit-out works for Goldman Sachs’ new headquarters in London.

The contract value is believed to be in the region of £130m.

Construction News revealed in October 2015 that Goldman Sachs had chosen Brookfield Multiplex to build the 800,000 sq ft office complex near Holborn Viaduct, and redevelop the neighbouring 13-storey Fleet Building and Plumtree Court on Shoe Lane. The scheme was given planning permission in March 2014.

It is understood fit-out works will start towards the end of this year, when the first stage of shell and core works is completed.

Investment bank Goldman Sachs agreed to pay damages to 11 of 14 neighbouring properties in October 2014, due to right-to-light issues.

The offer of damages was rejected by Aberdeen Asset Management and Royal London Asset Management, but the dispute was subsequently settled.
