Lendlease boosts Stratford Quarter with two new directors

Lendlease has appointed two directors to oversee the contractor’s £2.4bn International Quarter London (IQL) joint venture in Stratford.

The company has brought in Lisa Gledhill and Andrew Tobin to oversee growth of the site next to the Olympic Park, which was formed as a joint venture between the firm and London and Continental Railways (LCR).

Ms Gledhill, who had previously headed up Lendlease Asia’s £2bn Paya Lebar Quarter in Singapore, has been appointed as project director at IQL.

Mr Tobin has been named development director for offices at the JV and will lead the office team.

He previously led Lendlease’s Barangaroo development in Sydney, Australia.

Commenting on their appointments, Lendlease managing director for development Jonathan Emery said: “Lisa and Andrew both bring extensive UK and overseas experience that will be invaluable in delivering the transformative vision we have for International Quarter London.

“These appointments demonstrate Lendlease’s commitment, along with our partners LCR, to delivering a world-class business district in the heart of one of London’s fastest-growing areas.”
