MD Chris Goldthorpe retires from Mace Cost Consultancy

Mace Cost Consultancy managing director Chris Goldthorpe has retired from the firm after 12 years with the firm.

Mr Goldthorpe established Mace Cost Consultancy in 2004 and will leave the business at the end of the year.

He helped expand the group’s cost service in the Middle East, North America and South Africa.

Mace Cost Consultancy director Steve Mason will take over the role at the beginning of January 2017.

Mr Goldthorpe said: “I have worked on some fantastic projects over the years so I would like to thank all the clients for their trust in me and my team and for their repeat business over the years.

“I have also had the pleasure of working with a great team – many of them have been with me for more than 15 years.

“I would like to thank them and the Mace Group board for all their support over the years.”

Before establishing Mace Cost Consultancy, Mr Goldthorpe was a partner at Gardiner & Theobald for more than 15 years.

Mace Cost Consultancy currently employs 165 staff and has a revenue of around £18.5m.
