Galliford Try Partnerships and Regeneration managing director Stuart Gibbons has left the business to take up a post with Lovell.
He will oversee the London division for the Morgan Sindall housing subsidiary, which currently has an order book of more than £750m.
Mr Gibbons is the second person to join Lovell from Galliford Try’s Partnerships business in 2018 after its finance director Steve Breslin was poached in May.
In the London business, Mr Gibbons will oversee the delivery of the £500m Trinity Woolwich regeneration scheme, which is the largest single project for the division.
Lovell has been working in partnership with PA Housing and Greenwich Borough Council on the regeneration of three estates that will deliver 1,500 new homes since 2013.
The construction programme is scheduled to continue until 2027.
During his time at Galliford Try, Mr Gibbons oversaw a £347m, 2,500-home regeneration scheme in Gateshead and the £100m Brunswick Housing PFI in Manchester.
This will be his second stint with Lovell, having worked as its London operations manager for two years in the early 2000s.

Lovell was recently named among the 29 firms appointed to the mayor of London’s development panel, which is designed to make it easier for the public sector to develop sites for housing in the capital.
The subsidiary has become an increasingly prominent part of Morgan Sindall’s operations, as shown in the group’s half-year results released in August in which Lovell was cited as an investment priority for the company.
