Morgan Sindall’s area director for London will leave the firm this month, Construction News has learned.
Adrian Barnes had been with Morgan Sindall for 12 years, prior to which he had been with Balfour Beatty.
He will leave the business at the end of the year, with head of London and aviation Peter Jacobs believed to be advising on his replacement.
Mr Jacobs has already announced he will take early retirement next year for personal reasons. His replacement is currently being recruited.
A replacement for Mr Barnes will be announced in the new year.
Among its recent contract announcements in London was an £11.9m deal to upgrade three primary schools in east London, while Construction News revealed its joint venture with Bam Nuttall and Balfour Beatty had been shortlisted for each of the Thames Tideway’s construction contracts worth a total of up to £2.3bn.
Morgan Sindall declined to comment.
