Wates Developments has announced a raft of new appointments.
The contractor has poached David Bowen from KPMG as its finance director. Mr Bowen will join from October this year.
He will be responsible for the ‘traditional’ finance and accounting function of the business.
He will provide financial input throughout the land and development process with input into land viability, contracts, joint venture agreements and funding arrangements.
Meanwhile, Natalie Flint has joined the firm in the newly created role of residential investment director.
She will handle the management of the company’s current housebuilder joint ventures with partners including Barratt Homes, David Wilson Homes, Linden Homes, and all future new partners, while also overseeing its marketing strategy.
Wates has also hired Emily Bloor as senior land manager.
Ms Bloor joins from Shanly Homes where she held the same position.
