Willmott Dixon bags £46m PRS job in Bristol

Property management firm Grainger has picked Willmott Dixon to build a £45.7m PRS scheme in Bristol.

Grainger has agreed to acquire and forward-fund the build-to-rent development at Finzels Reach in Bristol, which will include 194 PRS homes across two tower blocks.

Cubex Land will act as the developer on the project, which has planning consent, with Willmott Dixon due to reach completion at the beginning of 2019.

Grainger said Bristol was one of its key target cities for PRS investment due to the strength of its housing market.

Other major residential projects for Willmott Dixon in the past six months include three residential towers of 17, 25 and 34 storeys in Woking, which it will develop under its Prime Place brand.

Prime Place is also developing Millbrook Park in Barnet, where Willmott Dixon will build 159 homes for private sale and 29 for affordable rent across a 1.1 ha site.
