Bilfinger Berger eyes £212m infrastructure investment

Bilfinger Berger is to place ordinary shares on the London Stock Exchange in a bid to raise £212 million to invest in construction projects.

The firm’s Global Infrastructure arm will offer the shares at £1 each and invest the proceeds in up to 19 infrastructure assets held by its Project Investments subsidiary.

This ‘Seed Portfolio’  is spread across sectors and countries, from roads schemes in Canada to schools projects in the UK.

BBGI also has preferential rights over assets with a potential aggregate investment capital value greater than £270m.
