Bam Construct and Bam Nuttall have both appointed new chief executives from within their existing boards.
Graham Cash will take over from Richard Gregory as chief executive of Bam Construct on 1 April. Mr Gregory will retire from the firm after 43 years of service.
Stephen Fox will become chief executive of Bam Nuttall on the same day. This will allow current chief executive Martin Rogers to concentrate on his executive board roles at parent company Royal Bam Group.
Mr Rogers said: “Bam continues to become more influential in the UK. We aim to continue our sound performance although market conditions will remain challenging in all construction sectors.
“We intend to do this by developing the Bam brand and growing our market share in both our existing and emerging market sectors. This will involve continuing to use the combined strengths and expertise of the Bam companies in the UK and across Europe.”
He added: “By making the most of the synergies between group companies we can offer added value. I am confident in the strengths of the UK management teams and all our staff and their ability to provide all our customers in both public and private sectors with an excellent and sustainable service.”
The Bam Construct board will now consist of Graham Cash, Richard Bailey and John Burke.
The Bam Nuttall board will be made up of Stephen Fox, David Belsham, Robert Treadgold and Geoff Renshaw.
Bam companies in the UK have a combined annual turnover of approximately £1.75 billion.
