Pinsent Masons appoints new head of construction

Law firm Pinsent Masons has promoted Fraser McMillan to head of construction.

He takes over from Richard Foley who will become senior partner at the firm from 1 October.

Mr McMillan, who has worked for the firm for 16 years, advised on several major construction disputes including those relating to Wembley Stadium and the Edinburgh Trams project.

He specialises in dispute resolution advice in construction and engineering and is also experienced in arbitration, litigation and statutory adjudication including international arbitration and cases in the English High Court and Scottish Court of Session.

David Ryan, managing partner of Pinsent Masons, said: “Our construction practice is a core component of our offering in the infrastructure and energy sectors and I am delighted that Fraser has taken on the role.

“He combines first-class technical skills and sector knowledge with significant management experience. Further, Fraser is very-much internationally minded and understands the significance we attach both to global growth and maintaining our dominant position in the UK.”
