Pochin family member leaves board

Cheshire construction group Pochin has announced that David Pochin, the last family member to sit on the main board, has left the business.

A statement from the company said Mr Pochin would be leaving with immediate effect so he could concentrate on furthering his career outside the business.

Mr Pochin had been with the Middlewich-based company for 22 years.

He was managing director of the concrete pumping division, and was on the main board as a construction services director.

The statement said: “The board of Pochin’s announces that Mr D Pochin, the concrete pumping division’s managing director, after 22 years service, has resigned from the board and will be leaving the Company with immediate effect, to pursue his career elsewhere.”

It added that Mr Pochin had made a valuable contribution to the company and had helped it to develop over the 22-year period.
