Gwynedd housing trust invites tenders for up to £55m of work

Cartrefi Cymunedol Gwynedd housing authority is looking for a contractor to upgrade its housing stock under a deal worth up to £55 million.

The housing authority is seeking to establish a term contract with a single contractor.

This term contract will govern the issuing of individual planned works orders to undertake internal and external refurbishment works including the supply, replacement and renewal of kitchens, bathrooms, rewires, roofs, chimneys, fascias, guttering, fencing, paving, wall rendering, wall repointing, wall cladding (including where necessary heating renewal and asbestos removal).

The contract is expected to last for four years.

Deadline for tenders is 23 August.
