Hull £7.3m housing refurb job up for grabs

Plans to refurbish two 15 storey residential blocks for Hull City Council have been advertised on the OfficialJournal of the European Union under a deal worth up to £7.3 million.

Work will cover refurbishment of two 15 storey blocks of flats including repairs to the concrete frame, window replacement, external insulation and cladding.

Between five and eight firms will be invited to tender for the deal which is due to start in September. Completion is scheduled for November 2010.

Firms have until 9 April to express an interest.
