New recruits from Hyder and Parsons Brinckerhoff for Aecom

Aecom has announced three new appointments in its UK and Ireland rail practice.

Simon Pimblett has joined the rail team from Parsons Brinckerhoff as permanent way design manager and will be based in Manchester.

David Hubbuck has been appointed as telecoms lead and will be based in Altrincham, greater Manchester.

Gary Hicks has joined Aecom’s Croydon office from Hyder Consulting as electrification lead.

Dan Rodgers, head of rail, UK and Ireland, within AECOM’s transportation practice said: “As one of the fastest growing rail businesses in the UK, these appointments further strengthen our capability to provide end-to-end solutions for the UK’s major rail operators and vital infrastructure projects in the UK including HS2, Crossrail, Transport for London and Network Rail.”
