Arcadis infrastructure managing director Mathew Riley joins Ramboll

Engineering consultant Ramboll has poached Arcadis infrastructure managing director Mathew Riley.

Mr Riley has become Ramboll’s UK MD, having previously worked as Arcadis’ MD for infrastructure, industry and utility sectors across the UK, Middle East and Asia.

Before Arcadis, he worked with Laing O‘Rourke and spent more than 16 years with BAA.

In total, Mr Riley has 27 years’ experience in the property and infrastructure sectors.

In recent years he has advised clients on a number of capital investment programmes, including Thames Water, Heathrow Airport, National Grid and London Underground.

Ramboll UK group executive director and chairman Søren Holm Johansen said: “We are delighted to welcome someone of Mathew’s calibre to Ramboll.

“We are committed to expanding our business in the UK and Mathew’s considerable expertise and experience in the industry will help us to achieve this aim.”
