Morgan Sindall MD Steve Elliott to become BW Interior's new chief executive

Former group managing director of Morgan Sindall fit-out businesses Overbury and Morgan Lovell, Steve Elliott has joined rival company BW Interior as its new chief executive and chairman.

Mr Elliott will lead the company’s growth, with support from BWI managing director Colin Ogden and the board.

BWI owners Mark Richards and Craig Foster said that despite Mr Elliot’s background of working with publicly owned companies, the business would remain privately owned, with “no aspirations” to make it a plc business.

They said BWI was a “user-friendly alternative to the larger tier one fit-out and refurbishment contractors”.

Mr Richards added: “We believe Steve’s impressive and proven track record of developing long-term sustained growth, implementing cultural change, generating new ideas and growing a market-leading brand will hugely benefit BWI.

“Coupled with his reputation for developing and mentoring people, this will offer huge added value to the business and offer great career opportunities as we expand BWI.”

Both Overbury and Morgan Lovell specialise in office refurbishment and fit-out.
