GPE reveals project leadership reshuffle

Great Portland Estates has announced six promotions including three new directors as part of a shake-up of its project management team.

As part of two changes to the team, James Pellatt (pictured) has moved to the newly created position of director of workplace and innovation, having led the unit since 2011.

Mr Pellatt has been replaced by Helen Hare as head of project management.

The developer said the appointments meant GPE was “well positioned to capitalise on this period of uncertainty”.

In addition, Hugh Morgan has been confirmed as director of investment management, taking on the role following the forward sales of Rathbone Square and 73/89 Oxford Street.

GPE has also named Martin Leighton director of corporate finance, which will see him take responsibility for group treasury, tax, insurance and credit control.

Stephen Burrows becomes director of financial reporting and investor relations, while Kirsty Davie has been confirmed as head of financial analysis and management information.

Chief executive Toby Courtauld said the changes would not alter either the board or the executive committee.
