Hub boosts senior team with new development manager

Residential developer Hub has boosted its senior team with the appointment of a new development manager.

Damien Sharkey will assist with the company’s development pipeline of 1,000 homes, including schemes in Acton, the Royal Docks, Wembley and The Old Vinyl Factory in Hayes.

Qualified architect Mr Sharkey will hope to integrate efficiencies between the group’s design and construction teams.

He will join from architects Robin Partington & Partners, where he was a partner and executive director.

Prior to that he was at Terry Farrell & Partners, where he worked on projects including the Regent’s Place development in Euston and the Nine Elms masterplan in Battersea.

Mr Sharkey will report to development director Steve Sanham in his new role. Mr Sanham said: “Someone of Damien’s calibre will complement our company ethos perfectly.

London’s housing shortage requires intelligent thinking and smart solutions. Damien’s experience in affordable yet high-quality design will ensure we are at the forefront of building functional, quality homes for hard-working Londoners.”
