Rise co-founder leaves fours years after company was launched

Ian Eggers the co-founder of construction manager Rise has left the company, four years after it was launched.

The decision was made “based on a basic divergence regarding the future of the business” and will see Mr Eggers pursue “development opportunities”, according to a statement released by the company’s directors.

The company’s two other co-founders Bob White and Gareth Stapleton will instead focus on project management and construction management contracts at Rise.

Mr Eggers has left with immediate effect but will have “joint interest” in some projects until their completion or suitable exit opportunities arise, the statement said.

Prior to setting up Rise, Mr Eggars worked for Mace, where he was a managing director for nearly 18 years.
