Lendlease appoints Jonathan Emery as EU property managing director

Lendlease has appointed a new managing director of property for its European business.

Jonathan Emery will oversee the company’s development and investment management businesses, reporting to international operations chief executive Dan Labbad.

Mr Emery was previously responsible for Lendlease’s substantial urban regeneration business throughout Australia – including the residential and commercial office businesses.

Prior to this, he worked with Dubai-based developer Maijid Al Futtaim Properties and was responsible for its major real estate developments across seven countries in the Middle East and North Africa.

My Emery started his career in the UK and spent 20 years with Hammerson as its managing director for UK developments, delivering major office developments in the City of London and West End.

Mr Labbad said: “We are delighted to welcome Jonathan back to London. His experience across various property markets around the world will be instrumental in ensuring Lendlease continues to work successfully with our government partners on leading urban regeneration schemes in Europe.”
