Mace’s head of construction bids departs

Mace has confirmed the departure of its head of bids for construction.

Jeremy Brim served as the associate director of the contractor’s bid team, spending three years at Mace after joining the firm in August 2015.

Mr Brim has left the business to start his own consultancy, as well as taking on a business development position at Morgan Sindall, according to his LinkedIn profile.

Prior to his role at Mace, Mr Brim worked in bid-related roles at two companies in the debt recovery sector: Marston Holdings and JBW Group.

During his time at JBW, he secured contracts with the likes of Highways England and Liverpool City Council.

He spent nearly 10 years at construction industry consultants EC Harris and Mouchel before joining Marston.

A Mace spokesperson said: “Jeremy has left Mace to pursue other ventures. We wish him good luck in the future.”

Last week Mace announced that it had appointed Turkish façade specialist Metal Yapi on the £24m contract for its £180m East Village N06 scheme in Stratford.
