Osborne has appointed a customer experience director to its social housing services business, in a newly created role.
Graca Machado has now joined the board of Osborne Property Services and will lead on improving customer service performance within the business.
Ms Machado was formerly director of global customer service for TNT Express NV.
Osborne Property Services managing director Nick Sterling said he believed the firm was the first social housing provider to appoint a board-level customer experience director.
He added: “This year we increased our customer service ranking, assessed by the Institute of Customer Service, by 17 points, bucking the general trend for UK plc.
“We are determined to build on this success and Graca’s appointment will help support our ambition.”
The news follow the appointment of a new customer programme manager for Osborne’s construction business.
Leigh Goodwin joined the group after working on Crossrail with the Bam Ferrovial Kier joint venture (BFK).
The contractor said he will focus on the group’s growing presence in the Midlands and will be based in Rugby.
