Scarborough appoints former Knight Frank partner as development director

Scarborough International Properties has appointed a new development director to oversee its £2bn development programme.

Former Knight Frank partner Paul Kelly will join the Scarborough board to help deliver some of its major projects including Middlewood Locks in Manchester and Thorpe Park in Leeds.

Mr Kelly has over 15 years’ experience in the property industry working in the UK and Ireland, with a focus on the commercial sectors.

At Knight Frank he worked in the company’s development and agency team, where he advised commercial occupiers, property developers and UK funds on the delivery, disposal and management of their property assets.

The Scarborough board now includes: chairman Kevin McCabe; deputy chairman and joint chief executive Simon McCabe; joint chief executive Simon Marshall; finance director Jeremy Tutton; development director Paul Kelly; and non-executive director Scott McCabe.

Mr McCabe said: “Since joining us, Paul has shown great commitment, knowledge and experience.

“With the support and hard work of our development team, we have seen significant progress across our development portfolio under Paul’s leadership.”
