Grame Nicol joins Urban Union from Cala Homes

Scottish developer Urban Union has appointed a former Cala Homes commercial director as its new managing director.

Graeme Nicol has been appointed to the newly created role following 13 years with Cala Homes.

Mr Nicol will oversee large scale regeneration projects across Scotland including developments underway at Laurieston in Glasgow and Pennywell in Edinburgh.

Urban Union is a partnership between McTaggart Construction and Robertson Group Holdings, set up in 2011.

Mr Nicol has been involved in a number of high-profile developments in Scotland including the design and procurement of Lancefield Quay in partnership with Miller Homes and as a director of Glasgow Harbour, for which Cala was lead developer.
