Vinci names new UK construction boss

Vinci Construction has appointed a new chief executive and chairman to its UK construction business, following the retirement of current boss John Stanion.

Vinci’s international director Bruno Dupety will take over as chairman and CEO, the group has confirmed.

He will also continue in his role as international director.

The appointment follows the news that Mr Stanion will be retiring after 22 years with the company.

In previous roles Mr Dupety was chairman and chief executive of Vinci’s subsidiary group Soletanche Freyssinet, as well as executive vice-president of Vinci Construction.

He joined the firm in 1999.
